Role Overview
The ILS Training and Compliance Manager plays a critical part in ensuring a fully trained, compliant, and high‑performing ILS operation, with responsibility for managing training programmes, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working as part of the ILS Senior Management Team, you will support audits, drive operational excellence, and contribute to key customer and business improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
Training:
- Ensure Key Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions are in place.
- Ensure all ILS Mandatory & Supplementary Training programs are in line with Company Policy, Industry
- Regulations and other Legal requirements.
- Ensure ILS team are fully up-to-date on their training needs and records retained for compliance purposes.
- Ensure operational targets are met and take short to medium term actions to reverse areas of
Underperformance
- Ensure timely completion of deviations and CAPA’s within the Quality Management System
- Produce Monthly Training reports to all ILS Management Team to ensure staff are regularly monitored.
- Carry out specific training as appropriate.
Compliance:
- Focus on the management of authorised activities and the accuracy and quality of records.
- Prepare for and support all audits
- Ensure that initial and continuous training programmes are implemented and maintained.
- Ensure that self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals following a prearranged programme and necessary corrective measures are put in place.
Other Key Areas:
- Produce departmental/regional management reports meetings, attend management meetings
- Contribute to efficient and productive running of ILS as part of the ILS Management Team
- Support relevant Key Customer & ILS projects and process improvements.
- Ensures that all interactions are compliant with DPDHL Code of Conduct and other compliance requirements e.g. anti-corruption
- Contribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program
Skills and Experience:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) in the transportation of Pharmaceutical products desirable
- Good organisational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail

HOURS/SHIFT PATTERN: 37.5 hours per week
REPORTS TO: Head of Health & Safety, Quality and Environment
