Role Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Employee Relations Global is responsible for managing employee relations (ER) matters at a global level.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

  • Proactively contribute to the development of short-term and medium-term Employee Relations and Human Rights strategies for DHL Express in global context.
  • Explore and design initiatives to further embed respect for human rights within the business.
  • Support the internal Human Rights case management process.
  • Conduct investigations related to human rights and other relevant HR cases.
  • Conduct Putting our People first/ Human Rights Reviews in countries to ensure compliance with DHL’s internal and external ER standards.
  • Advice and train managers and HR teams on effective employee relations practices and strategies for managing.
  • Provide support on HR Compliance topics including employee screening, internal HR controls (CRISP) and Conflict of Interest process.
  • Liaise and collaborate with DHL Express Compliance function and corporate functions on human rights and other Compliance related topics.
  • Support labour relations and employee data privacy topics.
  • Support in exploring, developing and implementing AI enabled and other digital solutions related to Employee Relations.

Do you have what it takes?

  • University degree in Law, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations/Labor Law with strong depth of extensive expertise.
  • Solid knowledge of human rights, labour law and GDPR.
  • Extensive experience conducting workplace investigations.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with senior management and global stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Cross-cultural competence with the ability to manage complex situations in a global environment.
  • Project management experience.
  • A global and digital mind-set and positive, collaborative spirit.
  • International experience.
  • Audit knowledge and experience.
  • Certification as a social auditor, e.g. SMETA is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools including Power Point, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage.
This position requires a full-time office presence.
