About the Role

Hillebrand Gori Italy S.R.L. is seeking an experienced External Sales Specialist with strong knowledge of ECS regulations, including excise duties, bonded warehouses, excise-paid procedures, and company-managed bonded storage services. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset to support our customers, manage contracts and deadlines, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, identifying new commercial opportunities and strengthening long-term relationships.
  • Promote Hillebrand Gori’s services related to excise duty management, bonded warehouses, and excise-paid goods handling.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on ECS regulatory requirements, compliance processes, and documentation.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of customer contracts, ensuring accurate setup, timely renewals, and full compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Monitor and manage contractual deadlines, service expirations, and any required updates.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Compliance) to guarantee seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular market visits and represent the company at client meetings, trade events, and industry forums.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics, beverage logistics, or regulated goods sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of ECS rules, excise duty regulations, fiscal warehouses, and excise-paid procedures.
  • Experience with bonded warehouse services and related documentation flows.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, including tracking and controlling deadlines and service commitments.
  • Experience in working with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage complex regulatory information and provide clear, actionable guidance to customers.
  • Good proficiency in English and Italian; additional languages are considered a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
