DHL Global Forwarding (Denmark) are looking for an experienced Courier Specialist

At DHL Global Forwarding, customer service is not only about answering calls and e-mails – it is about understanding customer needs, solving problems and creating reliable solutions in a fast-moving international environment.

As our new Courier Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring a high level of service towards both existing and new customers. You will become a trusted point of contact for customers, supporting them with advisory, problem solving and operational coordination related to courier shipments and services.

You will become part of a professional and collaborative team, where customer focus, ownership and teamwork are essential parts of the daily work.

The physical work location is in Hedegaardsvej, Copenhagen S.

Your key responsibilities in the role will be to:

• provide customer service via phone and e-mail
• identify and deliver the best possible solutions for customers
• handle operational and customer-related problem solving
• take ownership of assigned customers and tasks from start to finish
• advise and support both existing and new customers
• support upselling activities towards existing and new customers
• coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams
• ensure a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction

We expect you to…

• have 2-5 years of experience from the courier industry or a similar customer-oriented logistics role
• have experience with customer service and operational coordination
• be fluent in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
• be comfortable working across multiple IT systems
• experience from freight forwarding, courier or logistics in general is considered an advantage

Working hours: The position is a full-time position

The compensation package:

The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. The position is graded and sit within a predefined payband. Besides the base salary you will have – just to mentioned a few of the benefits - a pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25+5 vacation days per year, and a “Fritvalgskonto” (a “saving account” equal to 10% of your annual salary) paid out in December.
