Job Purpose:

As Senior Category Manager – Energy Solutions & Construction, you will play a key role in accelerating DHL Group's global sustainability and electrification journey. You will lead strategic sourcing initiatives for EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy solutions, and construction-related projects, helping to build the foundation for the future of sustainable logistics.

Working with senior stakeholders across DHL and leading global suppliers, you will develop category strategies, drive innovation, secure best-in-class commercial solutions, and create long-term value while supporting DHL's ambitious ESG targets.

Your tasks:

• Develop and execute category strategies for Energy Solutions and Construction.
• Lead sourcing initiatives for EV charging infrastructure, installation, maintenance, and related services.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and identify innovative market solutions.
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and contract management activities.
• Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends, technologies, and regulatory developments.
• Drive tendering and e-sourcing activities to deliver value and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units, regions, and functions to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Contribute to DHL's sustainability and electrification roadmap through innovative sourcing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and effective implementation of framework agreements.
• Lead cross-functional projects and support global procurement initiatives.

Your profile:

• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or a related function.
• Proven experience in Energy Solutions, Renewable Energy, EV Charging Infrastructure, Construction, or comparable technical infrastructure categories.
• Proven success in leading complex negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Commercially driven with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Fluent in English; good working knowledge of German (minimum intermediate level).
