This position would conduct airside operations reviews to ensure internal & regulatory compliance. Evaluate & approve airside root cause analysis investigations and corrective/preventative actions. Research Civil Aviation Administration (FAA) and other applicable international regulations to ensure DHL procedures meet these regulations and policies in accordance with the air carrier’s ground operations manual, Civil Aviation Authorities, IATA/ICAO Ground Operations Manual and DHL Express company policy. Prepare reports for management and share applicable information with DHL Center of Excellence personnel.

Key Accountabilities

• Conducts virtual and on-site Airside Ops reviews for compliance purposes. Prepare compliance reports for Senior Management to identify trends and provide analysis summary.

• Prepare reports as required to be distributed to a variety of audiences including Executive Management, Global/Regional Airside, Station Management, and Civil Aviation Authorities.

• Prepare informational documents (Bulletins and Newsletters) and distribute as directed by department management/personnel.

• Review and investigate regulatory incidents in coordination with DHL operations management personnel. Evaluate if corrective actions are effective.

• Conduct airside training sessions to a variety of audiences including internal and external customers.

• Maintain and administer the Global SOP Aviation Manual (GSAM).

Qualifications – Internal
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and 2–5 years of experience in related field.

• Must successfully complete the DHL approved airside designated ground training program.

• Have an advanced understanding of aircraft ground handling, weight & balance and associated DHL & Air Carrier procedures.

• Ability to travel approximately 50%.

• Knowledge of DHL internal applications (Q-Pulse, NMIV, Sable).

This position reports to the – Senior Manager Network Air Operations & Compliance.
