The Global Legal Operations & Innovation (LOI) function drives the digital transformation of Legal Services by embedding technology, data, and standardized ways of working to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of legal service delivery. A key focus area is the adoption of AI-enabled solutions to fundamentally transform how legal work is performed across regions and functions.

Main Tasks:
Business Process Quality & Improvement Specialist (m/f/d)
Embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Legal Services at a global level through the design and orchestration of a holistic enablement and engagement approach to increase the acceptance and use of AI
- Definition and execution of a global AI adoption and enablement strategy
- Development and implementation of a structured adoption framework covering awareness, enablement, behavior change, and continuous improvement
- Translation of strategic AI priorities into clear expectations, use cases, and behaviors for legal teams across regions and functions
- Identification and removal of barriers to adoption, ensuring alignment between tools, user needs, and business priorities
- Design and delivery of an innovative communication and engagement approach
- Definition and steering of a global communication and engagement strategy to create awareness, excitement, and sustained momentum
- Creation of clear, consistent messaging on the role of AI within the legal digital ecosystem and its impact on ways of working
- Design and implementation of innovative engagement formats (e.g. use case campaigns, live demos, hackathons, gamified initiatives, leadership storytelling) to drive active usage
- Establishing a strong narrative that positions AI as a core enabler of legal excellence
- Establishment of a global capability-building framework for AI in Legal
- Design and rollout of role-based enablement approaches focused on practical application of AI in legal workflows
- Development of learning journeys to embed AI into daily work through use cases and hands-on application
- Collaboration with Legal Engineers and subject matter experts to translate legal knowledge into AI-ready formats (e.g. playbooks, prompts, templates)
- Continuous evolution of capability-building approaches based on user needs and emerging AI capabilities
- Development and management of a global AI Champions network
- Establishment of a structured network of regional and functional AI Champions to act as local multipliers and role models
- Definition of roles, expectations, and engagement formats for Champions to support adoption and knowledge sharing
- Facilitation of cross-region exchange and peer learning to scale successful use cases and best practices
- Driving behavioral change and embedding AI into ways of working
- Definition of clear adoption expectations and integration of AI usage into daily routines, workflows, and team practices
- Design of recognition and incentive mechanisms to reinforce adoption
- Acting as a catalyst to challenge traditional ways of working and introduce AI-first approaches
- Establishment of feedback loops and continuous improvement mechanisms
- Implementation of structured feedback channels to capture user insights, pain points, and improvement opportunities
- Translation of feedback into actionable improvements in tools, training, and enablement approaches in collaboration with project teams and vendors
- Monitoring of adoption metrics and user engagement to identify gaps and define targeted interventions
Professional Requirements:
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in transformation, change management, legal operations, or digital adoption roles
- Proven experience in driving adoption of digital tools or transformation initiatives in a global environment
- Strong understanding of legal workflows and the application of technology (e.g., AI tools, document management systems, CLM solutions)
- Experience in designing and executing communication and engagement strategies
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple regions and seniority levels
- Experience in working with data and adoption metrics to steer transformation initiatives
- Very good command of English
