We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Central Tender & Project Manager (f/m/d) to join our Global Tender Management at the Head Office of DHL Freight in Bonn. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end tenders, lead strategic commercial projects.

Your key tasks:

Tender Management & Coordination

• Lead international tender projects for key customers end-to-end
• Master commercial/pricing tools, procedures, and databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare commercial/pricing proposals ensuring competitiveness in the market.

Power BI Reporting & Performance Steering

• Further develop Power BI reporting to increase transparency on tender pipeline, win rates, and KPIs
• Translate data into actionable insights for performance steering and decision-making
• Continuously enhance reporting structures to strengthen visibility and effectiveness

Project Management & Continuous Improvement

• Lead and support strategic initiatives (e.g., digitization, process optimization, automation)
• Apply structured project management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Drive efficiency, standardization, and operational excellence while maintaining stability

Our perfect match:

• You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a comparable field
• You bring 4–6 years of relevant experience in Tender Management, Sales, Commercial Excellence, or Project Management, ideally within logistics or a comparable industry
• You have strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
• You combine analytical strength with commercial acumen, ideally with exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI
• You are structured, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong ownership mindset
• You demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across regions and functions
• You have a strong customer focus and business understanding
• You are fluent in English, German language is a plus
• This position is based in Bonn and requires on-site presence 1–2 days per week
