Job Title: Head – Pricing & Portfolio Management, BPM
Job Location: Mumbai / Chennai
Lead the pricing and portfolio management in GSC with focus on managing and enhancing the GSC service and solution catalogue, including regular reviews. Define and manage the strategic growth strategy of GSC while owning the entire pricing framework, including developing/defining new methodologies. Responsible for the workflow governance including through GSConnect and leading the monthly service and solution governance board. Act as the key counterpart to Service Line Leads on services, solutions, and pricing. Own the holistic Business Partner (BP) feedback framework, including the quarterly NPA survey.
Key Responsibilities:
Pricing
- Develop GSC pricing strategy for all charging model and new pricing options; ensure pricing simplicity and automation via GSConnect
- Ensure compliance of GSC rate card application across centers and Business Partners
- Support explanation and communication of GSC pricing internally and externally
Service and Solution Management
- Develop targeted growth plans for GSC aligned with overall organizational strategy
- Continuously challenge and enhance existing services and solutions offerings
- Proactively identify and develop new service offerings
- Manage GSConnect workflows and ensure operational effectiveness
- Lead and host the monthly service and solution governance board
Business partner feedback
- Own the holistic BP feedback framework, including management of quarterly NPA survey
- Provide actionable insights on Business Partner sentiment and expectations
- Maintain and govern the stakeholder matrix
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the central interface for pricing, service offerings, and feedback-related topics
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and address issues before escalation
- Maintain clear, consistent, and timely communication across all levels
- Use insights (pricing data, feedback, service performance) to guide decisions and stakeholder discussions
- Establish structured forums, cadences, and escalation pathways
Management responsibility
- Individual contributor role (may manage one or fewer employees)
Required Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
- 10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, consulting, shared services, or service portfolio management
- Freight Forwarding industry / Freight forwaring GBS/GCC experience is a must
- Proven experience working in global, matrixed organizations with cross-functional exposure
- Demonstrated experience in pricing strategy, chargeback models, or cost allocation frameworks
- Exposure to workflow tools, automation platforms, or service management systems (e.g., GSConnect or equivalent)
