Tasks & Responsibilities
Maintain staff planning models as the basis for BRUHUB staff planning
•Identify and assess process changes on the shop floor driven by safety, new customer, network changes, process improvements, etc.
•Refresh data to keep to models close to reality using engineering designed tools.
•Implement into the models.
•Review the model with BRUHUB senior management to obtain sign off.
•Design new planning models, e.g., truck yard, dangerous goods).
Volume Forecast
•Review actuals vs forecast to understand the gaps (DHL legacy system OPMS data crunching).
•Implement changes into the forecast model.
•Weekly review with the network/country teams.
Process improvement
•Trial new technologies such as robotics, vision solutions.
•Implement (test results, business case, procurement, deploy).
Training
•Design Network Operations Efficiency Platform training.
•Conduct out trainings.
Day to day operations support
•Facility constraints such as number of offload gates, offload capacity, etc. process optimization.
•Service improvement (on hold shipments root cause analysis).
•Drive continuous improvements.
•Working in compliance with internal quality processes and procedures, as well as all legal requirements
•
Skilss & Requirements
•Degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Industrial Engineering and/or Data Management and/or similar through proven work experience.
•5+ years of Industry Experience or in similar work environments (ideal: operations & engineering).
•Educational knowledge in areas of productivity improvement, work measurement, work methods and standards, financial analysis, data understanding.
•Educational knowledge in the express package, transportation industries would be beneficial.
•MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD/NAVISWORKS.
•Good interpersonal skills.
•Willing to travel/work nights.
•Fluent in Dutch and English.
