We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.
Job Purpose:
This role leads the PTP function India within the overall global PTP Tower Finance Services, defining and implementing finance strategies, and ensuring operational excellence and financial transparency across multiple countries. It includes monitoring performance, driving process improvements, and managing complex financial initiatives. Additionally, the role influences broader financial strategies and supports audits and external service provider management.
Your tasks:
- Strategic leadership and resource management of the respective area in Purchase-to-Pay (PtP)
- Ongoing review and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assurance of consistent achievement of defined KPIs and quality standards
- Implementation and standardization of processes (incl. SOP Production & Adherence) in alignment with the PtP process vision (e.g., establishment of Central Services)
- Development and maintenance of effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee and review delivery of products and services for end-to-end handling of incoming invoices (from invoice receipt to payment preparation)
- Provide support for business growth from additional entities by supporting development of service range and promotions of AP products and services
- Ensure implementation of control mechanisms to enhance adherence to set standards and compliance requirements
- Develop solutions that reflect best practices and work across multiple business areas/ geographies such as new payments processes or systems, etc.
- Leadership, motivation, and professional development of team leaders (if applicable) and team members
- Conducting negotiations with internal and external business partners regarding process changes and evolving requirements
- Resolution of escalations from management, business partners, and customers with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Serving as the escalation point for operational issues within daily business activities
- Identification and resolution of complex operational and performance-related challenges
- Support of team leaders in personnel matters, including performance evaluations
Your profile:
Education Level
Master’s degree or Qualified Chartered accountant/ ACCA / CIMA / ACA
Experience Level
More than 5 years of leadership experience in similar PTP based roles
