As part of our development in the Life Sciences sector (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare), DHL Supply Chain France, a division specialized in contract logistics (2,000 employees), is strengthening its teams and is looking for a Business Development Manager capable of driving strategic opportunities and responding to complex tenders, based in La Plaine Saint-Denis (93).

Your responsibilities

Reporting to the BD & Marketing Director, you play a key role in the growth of our Life Sciences business:

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new opportunities in the Life Sciences sector
  • Build and maintain a client network (pharmaceutical companies, biotech, medtech, etc.)
  • Contribute to defining the commercial strategy within your scope

Tender Management

  • Lead responses to tenders (RFQ/RFI) end-to-end
  • Coordinate internal teams (operations, engineering, QHSE, finance, etc.)
  • Develop competitive and innovative proposals (pricing, solution design, etc.)
  • Draft and structure presentation materials
  • Present and defend proposals to clients in both French and English

Client Relationship & Negotiation

  • Lead commercial negotiations
  • Ensure handover to operational teams after contract signature
  • Contribute to client retention and account development

Location: La Plaine Saint-Denis (93) – Remote work 3 days per week

Your profile

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree (business school, engineering, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience (5–10 years) in business development in logistics or supply chain
  • Experience in the Life Sciences / Healthcare sector is essential

Key skills

  • Strong command of complex tenders (multi-site, multi-service)
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (GDP, quality, traceability, etc.)
  • Results-driven with strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent cross-functional coordination abilities

Languages

  • Fluency in both English and French is required
