We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.

Job Purpose:

The process and governance leads and supervises a team of Chennai based automation design & process experts, internal control experts and project managers on a professional and senior level. The role ensures that finance processes are standardized, controlled, efficient, compliant, and scalable, enabling high quality financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement in line with DHL’s global standards and transformation agenda.

Your tasks:

• Lead and develop the Process and Governance Team in India (approx. 15 Professionals/Seniors), overseeing projects stretching over all Process Towers and Support Functions and acts in close alignment with management and functional groups in Germany maintaining high standards of performance
• Develops & drives the usage of Agentic AI in operational processes, delivering compliant best in class services in line with business needs & industry best practices
• Shapes the direction of Finance Services by actively contributing as a strong manager and team player, fostering collaboration and teamwork, and ensuring that everyone is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives
• Recruits, coaches, mentors and develops the Process and Governance team, fostering Finance Services culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
• Ensures the effective sharing of information within the team and at regional and global level through, for example, team meetings, performance dialogues, etc.
• Adapt Finance Services standard methodology for process compliance and projects and further develop methodology in line with Management, Process Towers and Support Functions
• Sets up and maintains Performance Management Reporting to steer and maximize utilization of the operational staff
• Ensures clear communication about the group strategy and establishes the link to daily work within Finance Services
• In coordination with Audit and controls team overview periodic internal audits, process reviews, and management reviews to evaluate effectiveness and drive compliance across functions
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, taking global overall responsibility for growth of the process and governance portfolio, developing new offerings in line with expansion strategy
• Implements a culture of continuous improvement/growth looking to expand the Finance Services offering to existing and new customers

Your profile:

• Extensive Project Management skills and experience in Business Process Optimization (also agentic AI based) including documentation, analysis and improvement / Six Sigma
• Strong finance background (RTR/PTP/OTC), qualified accountant would be a plus
• Expertise in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with ERP systems and automation / analytics tools
• Strong (proactive) communication stakeholder management skills, ability to connect to different levels of stakeholders, from Operations to Management
• Excellent moderation, facilitation and conflict resolution skills, combined with communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to deal with competing conflicts, improve quality and reduce costs
• Fluent in local language and English language on a business level
• Willingness to travel

Education Level

Relevant Degree in Finance, Digital or Business management

Experience Level

At least 7 Years of relevant managerial and leadership experience with strong focus on project management within Finance SSC’s
