DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar has an opening for a Sales Trainee where you will administer sales sub function plans and processes to deliver business growth, profitability and enhance customer retention for a defined area/ territory in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies. In this Sales Trainee position

• You will administer sales sub-function plans and processes to deliver business growth, profitability, and enhance customer retention for a defined area/territory in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines, and policies.
• You will administer sales plans covering sales forecasts, revenues, costs, and budgets for a defined area/territory.
• You will administer sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans for the territory/area.
• You will strengthen commercial exposure through participation in customer meetings, joint sales visits, and exposure to the quotation and negotiation process.
• You will assist in formulating concepts to manage critical pricing policies, monitor profitability against targets, and manage price renegotiations.
• You will perform reconciliation of sales, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas.
• You will identify and highlight improvement areas based on pipeline reporting in collaboration with Sales Effectiveness.
• You will apply prescribed processes to research market trends and customer requirements and support the translation of products/services into solutions that meet customer needs.
• You will support the coordination and implementation of customer strategies, contract negotiations, cross-selling activities, and supply chain management processes.
• You will administer sales support processes and tools to ensure sales force effectiveness.

• A bachelor’s degree or any equivalent experience/qualification
• 2 years’ experience or less in related field.
