We are looking for a Director – Global Network Support based in Diegem, Belgium.
The job holder will lead the design, development, and deployment of the Global Network Support Group solution suite, including applications and reporting tools, with a primary focus on VISTA, AIRPLAN, LYNX, and RCG.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
- To owe the creation and communication of roadmaps with clear timelines in agreement with key stakeholders, including the POA process for project budget approvals.
- To direct a team during liaison with key stakeholders to understand, analyze, document and prioritize business problems, opportunities and requirements (BRS, User story, CR, etc.) prior to handing over to IT/suppliers.
- To guide a team in preparation, coordination and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for each development cycle (pre-testing, UAT test plan, issue log, etc.)
- To guide a team in preparation, coordination and execution of Release-To-Production (RTP) activities. This includes documentation (bulletins, user manuals, how to, etc. ) and training (webinar, NWOW sessions, etc.).
- To owe the global roll-out of the whole suit of Global Network Support Group and provide business support (front line support for issues raised, etc.) for key stakeholders.
- To actively coach, mentor and guide a team of (senior) business analysts and program managers to support continuous professional and personal development.
- To foster a feedback culture by providing regular motivational & developmental feedback to team members and stakeholders.
Do you have what it takes?
- Fluent in spoken and written English with well-developed communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytical, project orientated or wide operations role.
- In depth knowledge of DHL Express Operations, Aviation and Network Management including operational systems (NMIV, OCNT, RCTS, etc.) and project management tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc.) is preferable.
- Highly motivated with an ability to manage varying workloads effectively and efficiently against challenging timelines.
- Proven experience in data analysis with highly developed analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience in liaising with senior managers both within the organization and outside.
