Position: Operations Clerk

Shift: First Shift

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 5:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $20.75

Key Responsibilities

RGA & Claims Processing

  • Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) using SAP (VL01N).
  • Post return claims received without purchase orders from SLOC 5599 using SAP transaction ZMVB (Reason Code: Returns).
  • Research and validate claim orders against sales orders using SAP transaction VA05.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all return-related documentation.

Customer Communication

  • Manage daily email correspondence with customers regarding:
    • RGA inquiries
    • Claim discrepancies
    • Past-due claims requiring processing
  • Utilize the AOS directory and shared drive resources for customer contact and tracking.

Warehouse & Receiving Operations

  • Receive and unload scheduled live loads associated with approved RGAs only.
  • Verify shipments against documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and RGA paperwork.
  • Monitor daily pallet intake and report when counts exceed 30 skids per shift.

Discrepancy Resolution

  • Communicate promptly with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and supervisors regarding:
    • BOL discrepancies
    • Skid count inconsistencies
    • Unscheduled deliveries
    • Any receiving or documentation issues

Housekeeping & Compliance

  • Complete daily housekeeping tasks prior to end of shift.
  • Maintain an organized and safe work environment in accordance with operational standards

Role Purpose:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the assigned location

Key Accountabilities:

  • Codes delivery manifests and prepares billing.
  • Compiles statistical information from manifest data and prepares related report.
  • Inputs delivery information into computer.
  • Assists with dispatching as needed.
  • Handles owner/operator settlement problems.
  • Contacts customers to confirm delivery details.
  • Checks postponements and cancellations against delivery manifest.
  • Prepares purchase orders for signature.
  • Answers telephones.
  • Types correspondence for department managers.
  • Maintains the department files.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 years related experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
