• Responsibility for the implementation and continuous development of the Health & Safety strategy in line with legal requirements and corporate standards (including German Occupational Safety Act – ASiG §6)
• Ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements across the site
• Managing risk assessments, audits, safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
• Advising and supporting leaders on all aspects of occupational health, safety, and accident prevention
• Promoting a sustainable “Safety First” culture through training, safety campaigns, and preventive initiatives
• Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, authorities, auditors, and service providers
• Leading and developing the Health & Safety team while fostering a high-performing safety culture

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Risk Management, or a comparable qualification
• Qualification as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist and Fire Safety Officer
• Several years of experience in a Health & Safety environment, ideally within an operational or logistics organization
• Experience working with regulatory authorities, auditors, and a broad range of stakeholders
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Strong site presence with willingness to undertake occasional business travel
• Flexibility to work occasional night shifts as required by project activities
