An exciting opportunity has arisen to join DHL Supply Chain as a Senior Quality and Regulatory Assurance Officer based at our Auckland Airport site. We are looking for an individual who has a tertiary background in business, Data Management, or science. Ideally you will have 5+ years Quality Assurance, Validation, Risk Management / Food Safety or Manufacturing experience in a medium to large organisation. The preferred candidate will have knowledge and appropriate experience to lead our validation and verification activities within our Quality & Risk Management Systems and maintain GMP processes and environments.
What you will do:
In this role, you will:
- Schedule and lead new and ongoing validation activities including but not limited to Computer System Validation, Equipment Qualification, Temperature Mapping and Environmental Qualification and Packaging Qualification.
- Provide routine visibility of compliance against scheduled activities, including escalation of challenges.
- Develop, review, and approve Validation Master Plans, Protocols, Reports, and associated documentation.
- Maintain multi-site calibration schedules and ensure ongoing management of risk associated with deviations.
- Maintain oversight and ongoing management of validated system non-conformance management, including investigation, corrective action, implementation, and verification.
- Ensure validation activities comply with GDP, GMP, ISO standards, customer requirements, internal DHL policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify validation requirements for new projects, systems, and operational changes.
- Develop, review, and approve change controls related to validated systems and processes.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections.
- Ensure validation records are maintained in accordance with document control requirements.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to effectively manage stakeholder risks and opportunities.
- Carry out quality assurance-related projects.
What you will bring:
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in Validation for equipment and computerised systems, including end-to-end documentation, and requirements.
- Strong data analysis skills, high competency in Microsoft Excel.
- Protocol and report planning and writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in risk and deviation management.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
- A great sense of humour, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships at all levels of the business, and with internal and external customers.
- The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks.
- High accuracy and a great eye for detail.
