Our Digital Solutions team is looking for senior expert who can act as technical lead and principal consultant for strategic Data Management and AI Platform initiatives. The person should combine hands-on platform integration skills with the ability to advise stakeholders, guide engineering teams and shape enterprise-ready solutions across catalog, ingestion, analytics, cloud and AI domains.

The role translates complex business and technology needs into secure, scalable and operable solutions for DHL IT Services and its internal/external business colleagues and is expected to operate as a principal-level expert rather than a single-technology specialist. Success requires the ability to connect business needs, data governance, engineering delivery, platform operations, infrastructure constraints and emerging AI opportunities into one coherent solution approach.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• Experience with DataHub and Microsoft Purview, including metadata management, scanners, integrations, and data lineage.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Databricks for ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion.
• Integration experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Strong API integration skills, Python development, and automation-focused connector/service design.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and security across on-premise, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and Google Gemini Enterprise.
• Understanding MCP servers, RAG, vector databases, knowledge graphs as well as AI observability (preferable LangSmith).
• Experience with AI-driven data management use cases, including metadata enrichment, intelligent search, chat assistants, and automated governance.
