Your Impact as Compliance & Internal Control Senior Manager

As a key business partner supporting country leadership, you will:

🔹 Lead Compliance & Ethics Programs

• • Design, implement, and continuously enhance the country Compliance Program aligned with DHL Group standards and local regulations
  • Drive awareness and adherence to the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Competition Law, and Business Ethics policies
  • Promote a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organization
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on compliance-related matters across the business
  • Keep the Compliance Committee informed on issues related to Business Ethics, Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, and Competition Compliance

🔹 Manage Investigations & Compliance Cases

• • Lead and oversee compliance investigations involving employees, customers, and suppliers
  • Ensure all investigations are conducted professionally, objectively, and confidentially
  • Analyze findings, assess risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Manage the Ethics Hotline process and support case follow-up and resolution activities
  • Review, participate in, and report the results of investigations and compliance reviews

🔹 Strengthen Internal Control Frameworks

• • Oversee the implementation, monitoring, and effectiveness of the Internal Control System (ICS) and HighBond controls framework
  • Monitor control effectiveness and proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements and accountability standards

🔹 Partner with Leadership on Risk & Governance

• • Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, CFO, and senior leadership team on governance matters
  • Monitor control deficiencies and ensure appropriate reporting, escalation, and remediation actions
  • Support the country risk assessment process and drive risk mitigation initiatives across the organization

🔹 Lead Internal Audit Management

• • Coordinate and support internal audit activities across the organization
  • Partner with business and process owners to validate audit requirements and supporting documentation
  • Monitor remediation plans and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions arising from audit findings

🔹 Drive Compliance Training & Awareness

• • Develop and promote compliance awareness initiatives across the organization
  • Ensure completion and effectiveness of mandatory compliance training programs
  • Support the delivery of compliance education programs and ongoing communication campaigns
  • Foster an open and ethical culture where employees feel encouraged to raise concerns appropriately

🔹 Utilize Data & Analytics for Compliance Excellence

• • Leverage data, KPIs, and compliance metrics to assess business practices and identify risks
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders based on compliance trends and control assessments
  • Continuously improve compliance monitoring tools, investigative processes, and reporting mechanisms

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly ethical, detail-oriented, and influential leader with strong compliance, governance, internal controls, and risk management expertise.

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related field

✅ Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification preferred

✅ Additional professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, CRMA, or equivalent are an advantage

✅ Significant experience in Compliance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Governance, or related functions

✅ Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, corporate governance principles, and internal control methodologies

✅ Proven experience managing investigations, ethics hotline cases, and compliance programs

✅ Experience supporting Internal Audit processes, control assessments, and remediation programs

✅ Strong knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory compliance requirements

✅ Experience working with Internal Control Systems (ICS), HighBond, audit frameworks, and governance monitoring tools

✅ Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion

✅ Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data and KPIs to drive risk-based decision making

✅ Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams

✅ Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills

✅ Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
