Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to:

• Support Strategy 2030 Digital Partner Program and Enterprise API Customers.
• Ensure Express MyDHLAPI and developer portal enhanced documentation required for the Partner Program is developed and enhanced at pace of the DPP MVP and subsequent phase deliverables.
• Ensure proactive identification of enhancements required by our Partners and formulate them into technical requirements for the DHL Express flagship API platform
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed scope, time, cost, quality, governance and satisfaction, as per agreed roadmaps.
• Manage any enhancements towards applications/products/services as part of the DCS Programs domain’s portfolio relative to API or EDI Platforms, including build and run elements to support optimum functioning of the business functions.
• Drive delivery of concurrent programmes/projects as needed to support DCS Programs across the API and EDI landscape.
• Ensure close monitoring of X-BU Group API roadmap changes annd developments.
• Drive and influence CSI X-BU Group API Centre of Excellence changes annd developments to support the Express BU and vice versa protect the Express BU from unnecessary other BU changes that do not add any value to our Partners or Customers.

Candidate may be based in Prague, Belgium or Singapore.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

To translate Digital Partner Program Consultant EY’s recommendations into DSP-facing documentation and support with providing documentation / addressing questions related to the current API

Digital Partner Program Certification readiness / DSP enablement:
  • Technical integration guidance for developers: Process EY Digital Partner API Recommendations collaboratively to understand and maximise the Certification framework: EY will produce a clear set of actionable next steps on partner API documentation, API onboarding materials required to establish the certification framework.
  • This DSP (Digital Solution Provider) facing API documentation and API onboarding materials will be produced by this Lead. Vetted with all key stakeholders to seek input and build consensus towards a baselined annual roadmap 2027, 2028, 2029 towards best in class digital maturity with our Digital Partners across the industry.
Work with Internal business functions to understand needs, priorities and issues to plan the associated IT roadmaps.
  • Though projects could be triggered as responses to concrete Digital Partner/business requirements, the Senior Tech Program Manager will be collaborating with other domains such as (but not limited to) Network Operations, Customer Operations Group, e-Commerce, Clearance and Finance.
  • Accountable that projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, quality, governance and satisfaction.
  • Ownership and resolution of DPP issues reported on systems in production to ensure minimum business disruption.
  • Manage successful implementation of DPP required cross-domain solutions at an acceptable time, cost and quality.
  • Lead, manage and monitor any vendor leads supporting the Digital Parner Program incl project management and issue resolution to expected timescales.
  • Role will act as clear backup to DHL Express flagship MyDHLAPI Platforms Director and learn as much as feasible to perform this stand in back-up role if or when required.

Work with External Customer/Partner Tech teams directly in conjunction with DCS Programs leaders:
  • Join Tech roadmap workshops annually and keep close follow-up to DHL Express platforms or CSI API platform enhancements required to drive new business.
  • Own solution development based on DCS Programs or DPP team requirements arising from Partner/Customer tech solution roadmaps.
  • Progress any AI use cases identified for Integrated solutions going into 2027 roadmaps collaborating with ITS Agent Friday team as required.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Advanced University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, Business Administration or related fi eld or similar experience/education.
  • Professional Certification in at least one relevant Project Management Technique (Prince2 or PMI) and IT Service Management Technique (i.e., ITIL).
  • Agile Methodology training or Agile lifecycle product development exposure.
  • At least 10 years of multi-disciplined IT experience including:
  • Experience in managing large-scale development and/or deployment projects with multi million budget accountabilities.
  • Experience in a multi-national enterprise, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
  • Strong knowledge of customer integration tools (offline i.e. EDI and online i.e. API), related international standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, RosettaNet)
  • Strong understanding and/or experience working with the digital partner platforms landscape (Centiro, Shopify, Auctane, Zonos, EasyPost, Narvar etc.).
  • In depth knowledge of the API space with protocols such as SOAP and REST with languages such as XML and jSON, OAuth (Open Authorization) etc.
  • Strong understanding of API architecture landscapes (i.e.brokers, parsers, wrappers, Service buses etc).
  • Technical skills or knowledge of design and development tools (Java, C++, relational databases, LINUX/UNIX operating systems).
  • IT solutions development and implementation experience: Proven track record for managing and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Process knowledge: Solid understanding of the processes and metrics supporting the business. In-depth knowledge of Express logistics operations processes is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with technical and non-technical senior management.
  • Strong program and people management skills with capability to work across cultures and borders.
