Job Description
Leads the product enablement, analytics and continuous improvement teams for Packaging.The Sr Director is accountable for translating business priorities, customer insights, market trends, operational performance data, and improvement opportunities into actionable strategies, scalable service offerings, and measurable performance outcomes. This role sets direction for analytics-enabled decision making, continuous improvement governance, operating model evolution, and cross-functional execution to improve growth, productivity, service quality, and customer value.
Responsibilities
·Owns business plans and go-to-market strategies for packaging and any new or enhanced service offering, including operating model definition, value proposition, cost and pricing model inputs, technology needs, implementation requirements, analytics requirements, and sales enablement plans.
·Provides strategic leadership to Director, Manager, Analyst, Analytics, and Continuous Improvement resources and coordinates cross-functional work across Operations, Customer Development, Solutions Design, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Strategic Services.
·Leads product enablement strategy development and planning cycles in alignment with region and global priorities.
·Owns analytics strategy, performance measurement frameworks, dashboards, insights routines, and data-driven decision support to identify growth opportunities, operational gaps, productivity levers, and customer value opportunities.
·Establishes and advances continuous improvement priorities, governance routines, project pipelines, training programs and benefit tracking to support standardization, operational excellence, margin improvement, and scalable execution.
·Directs market, customer, industry, competitive, operational, and financial analysis to inform strategic priorities, product development, and investment recommendations.
·Builds and maintains executive-level relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to validate strategies, align priorities, remove barriers, and support execution.
·Sponsors evaluation and selection of tools, systems, automation, reporting capabilities, and technology solutions that improve sector competitiveness, analytics maturity, solution development, and operational execution.
·Leads executive governance routines, decision forums, and performance reviews, ensuring risks, dependencies, milestones, benefits, and outcomes are clearly managed and communicated.
·Drives continuous improvement of solution sets by incorporating lessons learned, customer feedback, operational performance data, productivity metrics, analytics insights, and industry leading practices.
·Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
·Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in logistics, operations management, industrial engineering, business, analytics, or related field preferred.
·Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, strategy, product development, analytics, continuous improvement, operations, consulting, or related field; experience leading cross-functional and enterprise-level initiatives required.
·Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong strategic planning, analytics interpretation, business case development, continuous improvement methodology, product development, stakeholder management, financial acumen, executive governance, project leadership, and executive communication skills; ability to lead through influence, translate data into insight, and convert market, customer, and operational needs into practical strategies and scalable service offerings.
·Travel Requirements: National travel occasional, typically up to 25%; international travel limited based on business need.
