DHL Global Forwarding – Algeria has an opening for a Shift Warehouse operations team leader where you will coordinate warehouse and ground operations plans and processes to provide smooth operations for movement, storage and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools and packaging and to meet cost, quality, customer and market-specific requirements in line with the business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Shift Warehouse operations team leader position

• You will coordinate warehouse and manual handling plans and processes to ensure safe and efficient operations across organization-owned or leased warehouses.
• You will coach and guide the team in executing day-to-day tasks and activities, ensuring work schedules and targets are achieved.
• You will monitor operational activities to receive incoming shipments and process outgoing shipments within defined service performance timelines.
• You will participate in inventory planning and scheduling activities, including overseeing product ordering to meet organizational requirements.
• You will resolve operational conflicts and support the coordination of delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• You will maintain up-to-date stock information and review daily material movements and actual production schedules against inventory levels.
• You will ensure the accuracy of customers' inventory by conducting daily and weekly inventory cycle counts.
• You will perform inventory control activities, conduct stock turnover analyses, and manage material scheduling.
• You will review the inspection of incoming materials to ensure conformity with order specifications and identify any defects.
• You will execute safety, security, and inventory control programs to ensure that goods and equipment are safely operated, properly maintained, and securely stored.
• You will review and optimize the utilization of warehouse facilities for storing and distributing materials, including raw materials, finished products, tools, and packaging materials.
• You will identify operational issues and improvement opportunities, and implement best practices in warehouse and manual handling to enhance efficiency, accelerate service delivery, and reduce costs.
