Role Opportunity: NCG Supervisor (South Asia Hub)

Reporting to the Network Support Manager, the incumbent is to manage a group of NCG Agents to ensure pro-active monitoring of flight movements, ULD logistics, activating contingency plans, respond promptly to network requests and timely updates of service incidents. Identifies and make recommendations for service improvements.

Your Tasks

Provide accurate and analytic performance / incident report to enhance performance quality.

• Provide a tracing service for the network and interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.

• Proactive and immediate response to all customers.

• Communicate with service provider to get information on flight details.

• Work with airlines to implement outbound and inbound service enhancements.

• Handle operational communications with other Gateway and Hubs regarding inbound & outbound operations, adhering to standards and protocols for pre-alert, e-mails and other communications with the DHL network.

• Interface with local country customer service on service problems and enquiries.

• Coordinate implementation of contingencies plan.

• Ensure that NCG fully understand and implements the Tracing process.

• Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

• Conduct performance appraisal.

• Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.

• Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

Supervisors in scope of overseeing pharmaceutical shipment handling are responsible for ensuring that all employees within the facility and applicable subcontractors are trained and compliant with the Global SOP, Life Science GDP Policy and Standards, and respective local requirements, to ensure compliance in all activities related to Medical Express shipments. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Complete initial and continuous training on the CIS Medical Express Awareness, CIS Awareness trainings, and GDP principles; such training is to be proactively monitored to adhere to completion by staff/contractors as applicable

• Have a complete understanding of the Global SOP, Life Science GDP Policy, and Standards to be able to perform PD, GEMBA, self-assessment, and act as required within their facility, with staff and sub-contractors as applicable.

• Action and drive any corrective actions for compliance, continuous improvements for GDP as noted in GRID or as raised to the facility via WMX Support teams, customers, or others.

• All subcontracting activities that may affect GDP compliance and overall quality assurance in their area of responsibility are monitored

• GDP-related tasks, documents, and records are adhered to where applicable

• Follow compliance with local regulatory requirements related to GDP

• Any delegated responsibilities are documented for accountability

• Lead as required for the agreed Customer onsite meeting and the Customer requested audit

What You Bring

• At least 5 years’ experience, preferably within airline, transportation or logistics industry.

• Minimum Diploma level

• Good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English.

• Role is required to work shift
