The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day fleet allocation management including allocation of the sub-contractor fleet. To be successful you must have recent experience in the transport industry as an allocator working with palletised freight and have extensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Responsibilities
- Day to day fleet management
- Daily scheduling and coordinating routes/ deliveries
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Lead and monitor fleet performance focusing on systems, procedures and processes for continuous improvement
- Management of COR with emphasis on Load Restraint & Fatigue Management
Requirements
- Recent palletised freight fleet allocations experience
- Strong experience in transport logistics and road fleet management
- Extensive knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan areas
- Strong COR exposure
- Ability to work under stringent time frames and fast paced work environment
- Strong MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
