We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Inbound Controller. In this position you will play a crucial role to support our vision of becoming a Great place to work for all.
Role Outline
To plan, coordinate, and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the team, ensuring effective communication, leadership, and development of staff. To oversee the execution of warehouse operations through proper resource planning, scheduling, and control of employees and supervisors. To optimize resources to drive operational efficiency and ensure customer service standards are consistently met. To ensure all contractual KPIs are achieved and maintained in line with SLA requirements, while working closely with management to monitor performance and allocate work effectively across operational areas.
Key Tasks/ Accountabilities
Managing the operation Inbound, and administrative teams
Meet and exceed operational service levels and manage the cost of Labour
Drive and develop team culture
Delivery of Key Performance Indicators
Quality Control
Compliance with statutory and Company Policies and Procedures
Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
Active participation in stock counts i.e. Planning, Preparation and Physical counting of stock
Ensure daily and weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished
Effective Leadership and Management of the operational and administrative teams
Delivery of safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for Team Members
Maximize accuracy, productivity and space utilization
HR Issues - Managing Industrial Relations
Maximize accuracy, productivity and space utilization
Translate, analyze and deliver customer needs through effective operations
Effective Leadership and Management of the operational and administrative teams
IR Skills
Functional Experience
3 years of similar experience/ environment
SAP Knowledge and Experience
Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric – Essential
Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications
Skills/Competencies
Good analytical and numerical skills
Computer literacy (MS Office, transport management systems)
Reporting tools (Excel, dashboards)
Deadline driven
Administrative knowledge and skills
Accurate data capturing
Good written and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and independently
Dedicated to service excellence

Languages
