As a Manager of Team, you will lead multiple DevSecOps teams responsible for developing, operating, and continuously improving Business Intelligence products that support critical processes under the Finance Domain. Beyond ensuring stable operations and high-quality product delivery, you will shape product strategy, manage budgets and portfolios, and identify opportunities where technology, analytics, Generative AI, and Agentic AI can create measurable business benefits through improved quality, reduced costs, faster time-to-market, and enhanced user experience.

Working in a fast-paced global environment, you will collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, project stakeholders, and account managers to deliver complex initiatives on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. You will coordinate resources across multiple locations and time zones, navigate changing business priorities and evolving solution designs, and foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. As a trusted leader, negotiator, and AI advocate, you will empower your teams to transform data into business value while driving operational excellence and strategic growth across the organization.

As a Manager of Team, having extensive experience in IT, Business Intelligence, and/or logistics environments is a huge plus. Proven success in leading multiple DevSecOps teams, ideally across different countries and time zones, will be an integral part of this role.

You are a strong advocate of Product Management and Agile delivery practices, therefore a solid understanding of product lifecycle management, portfolio governance, and delivery methodologies such as Scrum, PSPO, Prince2, PMBOK, or similar frameworks will help you succeed.

You are passionate about data, analytics, and digital innovation, with a strong belief in making decisions based on insights rather than intuition. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, and an eagerness to explore emerging technologies will be highly valued.

Financial planning, budgeting, and portfolio management are familiar territories for you, and you are comfortable balancing business priorities, investments, and delivery commitments.

As a natural leader and relationship builder, you excel at stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing, enabling you to align diverse teams around a shared vision and drive outcomes in complex environments.

You are able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure. Working in a multinational organization, you can expect close collaboration with colleagues, customers, and partners around the globe, therefore advanced spoken and written English skills are essential.

Hi, my name is Melanie Garces Kovac and I’m the Head of Sub-Domain for BI Complex Data Solutions. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2006, when I took a role as Technical Consultant in the System Integration team. Gaining more hands-on experience with Business Intelligence has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Business Intelligence team. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Senior Architect role. In 2020, I moved to a management role, being BI Team Manager. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common ambition – to enable data-driven decisions & accelerated insights that create business value.
