Responsibilities
Job Scope:
The OMS Advisor role is critical for supporting ongoing and upcoming Operations Management System (OMS) deployments, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) initiatives, and capability building across sites. The position is responsible for driving leadership engagement, performance dialogue, CI maturity, standardization, and waste elimination, while fostering a strong continuous improvement culture in line with OMS expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a coach through the implementation of OMS FIRST CHOICE principles and elements.
- Train and coach site champions and site leadership teams on OMS FIRST CHOICE principles.
- Present expected roles & responsibilities and level of support required from teams in the OMS FIRST CHOICE journey.
- Evaluate site performance cube with site leadership team and OMS FIRST CHOICE champion, aligning ramp-up and next steps.
- Support site managers on span of control analysis and adjustment plans.
- Develop Excellence School infrastructure (physical, trainers, training programs) and ensure standardization across sites.
- Ensure OMS FIRST CHOICE standards for new sites/new business.
- Review implementation status with each site and report to the country lead on accomplishments and critical points.
- Gather information for standardization control and monitor progress with site management teams.
- Share experiences, business cases of successful implementations, and best practices with site leaders.
- Ability to influence operations teams and ensure sustainable adoption of new processes/standards
- Understanding of WMS/WLM/TMS, automation, digitalization and operational data systems would be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, FMEA, RCA and data-driven problem solving
- Experience managing a team , including goal setting, coaching, performance management and capability building
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum experience of 10-12 years in Supply chain operations/Manufacturing is essential.
- Experience in a Manufacturing/operational environment is needed.
- Experience in Performance Management and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong hands-on experience in Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process mapping.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Lean, Kaizen, PDCA, DMAIC, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management and Root Cause Analysis

Expected Educational Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Strong in Process understanding and LEAN approach.
- Good in MS Excel, Power point
- Working Knowledge of Power Bi desired.
