We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualified Export Compliance Analyst. The Export Compliance Analyst will assist with maintaining the export related regulatory compliance programs for DHLE USA. This individual may be involved with internal gateway and service center audits; investigating potential import and export violations; assist in creating weekly and monthly compliance metrics; and performing tasks to ensure DHLE USA compliance with various trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• This individual will be key in auditing and ensuring compliance under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) and Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) for US export and transit transactions
• Work with Customer Service, Sales, Legal Department, the US Government, and/or Customers to research US export compliance issues
• Work with Operations, Sales/COG, Customs Brokerage Services, Customers, and/or the US Government on solutions to issues with export shipments
• Assist in developing and delivering training
• Act as a resource for Export Compliance questions from Operations, Sales/COG and Customers
• Assist with review and update of export compliance policies
• Research and review OFAC imports and exports against DHL policy and government regulations
• Assist with compliance Audits
• The individual must possess the ability to perform detailed research in multiple internal IT systems, the internet, and hard copy files

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of export control laws and regulations is required, including knowledge of the ITAR, FTR, EAR and OFAC
• Basic understanding of inbond transfer processes and regulations
• Developed oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of and proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook & iShare
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to proficiently communicate with US Government officials and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple competing priorities
• Organized and able to maintain a filing system
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• This position requires access to secured airport areas. Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, which includes passing a criminal history records check, fingerprinting, and meeting all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Candidates must be able to provide all documentation necessary to support the badging process.
