Position Summary :The Manager of Assistive Technology Services will lead the development, delivery, and oversight of assistive technology (AT) programs and services while driving strategic projects from conception through completion. This position combines service management with strong project management responsibilities, ensuring that assistive technology solutions are effectively integrated into therapy, education, and daily living supports for individuals with developmental and physical needs. The Manager will work closely with clinicians, educators, IT staff, and external partners to deliver innovative, client-centered technology services.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Service Leadership

· Oversee daily operations of assistive technology services, including assessments, training, and device management.

· Establish and maintain service standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure quality and compliance.

· Supervise and support staff providing AT services, evaluations, and client training.

Project Management

· Collaborate with agency leadership on the planning, execution, and evaluation of AT-related projects, including pilots, system upgrades, and service expansion.

· Develop project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.

· Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and vendor relationships, with specific emphasis on building relationships with area school districts

Stakeholder Engagement

· Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, grand partners, and partner agencies regarding AT services.

· Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals to ensure seamless technology integration.

· Prepare presentations, training, and updates for staff, families, and leadership.

Data, Compliance & Reporting

· Collect and analyze service data to evaluate outcomes and guide improvement.

· Ensure adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards.

· Produce regular reports for leadership and funding partners.

Training & Development

· Organize workshops and educational sessions for staff, clients, and families on assistive technology use.

· Stay current on emerging technologies, funding sources, and best practices in the AT field.

· Mentor and develop staff in project management and service delivery skills.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science, Special Education, Health Administration, Health and Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred).

· 3–5 years of management and project leadership experience in healthcare, education, or human services.

· Direct knowledge of assistive technology devices, applications, and service delivery models.

· Experience managing grant-funded programs, technology implementation, or service expansion projects strongly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong project management expertise with ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets.

· Excellent leadership, supervision, and team-building skills.

· Strong communication and presentation abilities.

· Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

· Strategic thinker with problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
