Position Summary:
Easterseals is changing the way the world views and defines disability by making profound and positive differences in people’s lives every day. In Greater Cincinnati, we do this with a focus on building a more diverse and inclusive workforce and community by supporting people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, veterans and military families, and people facing economic disadvantages.



Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for data entry of client information
  • Responsible for client follow-up calls
  • Scheduling of conference calls, Zoom, Teams, etc.
  • Interacts with staff, customers and the community in a positive and respectful manner
  • Assists with facilitating day-to-day operations in the lab
  • Creates and maintains a positive environment for customers that provides a safe space for them to decompress, de-escalate and feel supported
  • Helps to de-escalate customers who are demonstrating heightened behavior
  • Ability to understand and effectively work with technology
  • Assists with selecting appropriate training methods or activities (e.g., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
  • Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Experience with Google Classroom/Google Docs
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Experience with e-learning platforms
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments


Required Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of experience in the field of developmental disabilities;
  • Or Relevant experience on a year-for-year basis, or credentialing that substitutes for the educational requirement;
