Position Summary
Come be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides high quality therapy services (physical, occupational, speech, mental health, and behavioral therapy) focusing on contributing to the growth, independence, and quality of life of those we serve. The Mental Health Therapist provides therapeutic services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who may also present with co-occurring mental health needs. The therapist uses evidence-based and person-centered approaches to support clients in achieving improved emotional well-being, coping skills, and overall quality of life. Services may include individual, group, and family therapy, as well as collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community partners.
  1. The People We Serve: Our program is built around an incredible community of people with diverse abilities who inspire us every day. Working in this role offers the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with participants who thrive on consistency, support, and encouragement.
  2. Celebrating Successes: Few experiences are as fulfilling as witnessing someone achieve a personal milestone—whether it's taking a step they’ve worked months to master or finding new confidence in their abilities. At ESRW, we celebrate every win, big or small, with the same enthusiasm, and our therapists are part of a team that cherishes those moments.
  3. A Collaborative, Inclusive Culture: Our team prides itself on fostering a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment. From day one, therapists will find themselves part of a culture that values creativity, teamwork, and ‘trying another way’ when faced with challenges. It’s a place where professional growth meets a true sense of purpose.
  4. Opportunities to Innovate: Our program encourages professionals to think outside the box. Whether it’s finding new ways to incorporate assistive technology into therapy plans or adapting sessions to align with a participant’s goals, there is always room for creativity.
  5. Making a Tangible Impact: Our therapists get to see the direct impact of their work on participants' daily lives. From enhancing mobility to promoting independence in ADLs, the work we do here truly matters—not just for the participants but for their families and care teams as well.
  6. Pay: $55 per billable hour of service.
