- Experience leading small and/or medium capital projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, compressed gas systems, clean water systems, plumbing and electrical systems
- Project Management experience
- Ability to observe operations and provide feedback on safe practices in alignment with Enable procedures, state and /or federal guidelines/requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements as well as local environmental agencies
Preferred: - Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Established relationships with local trades and community agencies such as police and fire departments
- Strong understanding of cleanroom operations and construction requirements
- Experience managing multi-site environments
- Certifications in life safety as well as verifiable OSHA, NIOSH or NSC training
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
- Facility Management Professional (FMP)
- Building Operator Certification (BOC)
- LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Direct and actively manage all aspects of facility operations including procurement, routine operation, preventative maintenance, repair and calibration. Instill and refine maintenance processes to proactively address issues/challenges
- Direct the activities of departmental or contract personnel to assure all aspects of facilities responsibilities are fulfilled within expected timeframes and to acceptable levels of quality
- Lead capital projects on behalf of the business with a focus on managing cost, schedule, quality and stakeholder needs
- Ensure alignment with Enable’s business strategies as communicated from senior management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local authorities and community. (Fire, Police, Village of Evendale, Butler County, Building Owners)
- Lead the renovation and/or preparation of existing space to support Enable’s growth of employees, labs and clean rooms
- Proactively plan and implement cost effective minor renovations to ensure employees are comfortable and are well supported to perform their roles
- Build and execute energy efficient improvements to support a cost-effective operation
- Leads the Facilities department’s annual budgeting process with the team and ensures adherence to the budget through process improvement, the implementation of creative solutions, and strategic team planning and growth
- Ensure contractors follow Contractor Safety Programs and site orientation
- Oversight of contractor permitting (hot work, confined space, lockout‑tagout)
- Contract negotiation with safety and performance metrics included
- Arrange for and oversee training of all Enable staff ensuring a working knowledge of safety policies related to specific work duties and environmental conditions
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ADA, EPA, and fire/life‑safety standards
- Develop and enforce policies related to workplace safety, hazard mitigation, and emergency preparedness
- Develop clear communication plans for outages, disruptions, and safety‑related updates
- Coordinate building inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits
- Provide assistance as requested by Human Resources for escorting personnel or visitors to their vehicle or other arranged transportation
- Respond to reports of suspicious or abnormal activities occurring at Enable Injections Inc locations
- Contact local law enforcement as required
- Report any actions to Human Resources and/or Senior Management
- Develop and manage short‑ and long‑term capital improvement plans
- Lead facilities-related construction, renovation, and expansion projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, timelines, and safety requirements
- Create and oversee facility budgets, including operating, maintenance, capital, and energy budgets
- Track expenses, forecast needs, and identify cost‑saving opportunities
- Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ADA, EPA, and fire/life‑safety standards
- Develop and enforce policies related to workplace safety, hazard mitigation, and emergency preparedness
- Coordinate building inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits
- Build and mentor a facilities & EHS team with succession planning
- Develop, update, and conduct drills for emergency preparedness plans (fire, severe weather, chemical spills, security incidents)
- Serve as the Incident Commander or a key Emergency Response Team leader
- Long‑term forecasting for facility lifecycle costs and capital asset replacement
- ROI analysis for facilities investments
- Management of hazardous waste, universal waste, and chemical waste streams
- Oversight of air permits, wastewater discharge permits, SPCC plans, and stormwater management
- Oversight of sustainability programs (waste reduction, recycling, ESG reporting)
- Ownership of incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Chairing or co‑leading the Safety Committee
- Oversight of Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), ergonomics assessments, and industrial hygiene monitoring
- Development of emergency response plans—including chemical spills, injuries, fire, and natural disasters
- Ownership of EHS training program, including OSHA, hazardous communication and emergency response
- Maintenance of all EHS documentation and compliance records for audits
