Department: Business Solutions and Analytics

Reports to: Vice President of Technology

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technology projects from inception to completion. As FC Cincinnati continues to grow, the candidate will drive organizational change as we mature our technology stack and its effectiveness across the broader organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management methodologies and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The candidate will have a keen focus on identifying and solving for barriers and challenges and assist in developing a high performing organization. They will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bring stakeholders across the organization together and foster positive relationships with staff and partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and that stakeholder requirements are addressed.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives that support a high performing organization. Implement change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and minimizing disruption.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Ensure that proper documentation and training is developed and distributed at conclusion of all projects.
  • Implement a project management platform to be used org-wide (preferably on the Monday.com platform).
  • Represent Technology in business discussions and ensure necessary capabilities needed by the organization are developed.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field. PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience, with a strong understanding of project management and change management methodologies
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical users at varying levels across our organization. Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with implementing and using a SAAS platform (preference to Monday.com) to serve as the enterprise level project management platform.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges.
  • Ability to work outside traditional business hours as required including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. This includes on-call availability.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required to travel between multiple site locations as needed to provide support.
