Job Title: Senior Manager of Creative Content

Position Summary:
The Senior Manager of Creative Content is a creative leader who oversees a team of content producers while driving best-in-class visual storytelling initiatives across FC Cincinnati’s owned and operated platforms. The team this role oversees will own the creative vision and production logistics on a wide range of video projects. The Senior Manager of Creative Content will be required to foster an environment of creativity, inclusiveness, and collaboration while delegating tasks and empowering individuals on their team to own projects, learn from their mistakes, and share in their successes.
What You'll Do:
- Work with the Director of Digital Content to develop content strategy, production plans, timelines and deliverables for FCC’s video projects
- Be a creative leader, mentoring a team of content producers and fostering an environment of creativity, inclusiveness, and collaboration
- Collaborate cross-functionally to serve the greater creative needs of FC Cincinnati by driving storytelling initiatives that encapsulate our brand identity across all platforms
- Take an active role in developing creative concepts, directing shoots, and conducting interviews for branded content initiatives that drive revenue.
- Partner with the social team to deliver engaging video content for our social channels
- Consistently refine processes and look for better ways of working to alleviate bandwidth issues and increase the quality of the team’s work
- Oversee the production and delivery of all Apple TV+ MLS Season Pass video requirements
- Orchestrate matchday video coverage in order to provide fans with best-in-class matchday content
- Display the ability to weigh responsibilities, prioritize projects, and delegate work with the goal of producing quality content at scale
- Push the team to think ahead to enhance creative concepts, keep other team members updated, and avoid last minute production issues
- Track the video team’s monetary requests for gear and production dollars against a budget
- Position FCC as a trendsetter in storytelling and content creation in Major League Soccer
- Prioritize projects in accordance with key tentpole moments, brand campaigns and partnership agreements
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to uncover meaningful storylines and reach diverse audiences
- Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to the video team.
- Inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation and excellence.
- Stay updated on latest social media trends
- Be willing to travel, which may include air travel and/or overnight stays for one or more nights
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in broadcasting, communications, film, art, or related field
- 7+ years relevant work experience, preferably in the professional/collegiate sports industry
- Experience working in sports production for a major league, team, or broadcaster

- A strong sense of how pre-production works, with the ability to sell creative ideas and turn them into high performing, finished assets
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- A strong journalistic and editorial background with superb interviewing skills
- Ability to edit and guide others’ work with sensitivity and vision
- A positive, team-first attitude and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of a variety of video formats and applications
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC game schedule, special events, and projects
