Job Title: Academy Administrative Associate

Department: Academy

Reports to: Academy Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Academy Administration Associate will support the Academy Team Administrator in day-to-day needs with the FCC Academy and Player Care Department. This individual will have access to see how a sports organization works as a business entity, as well as build relationships with individuals at all levels across FC Cincinnati. This role will be primarily in Milford, Ohio at Mercy Health Training Center. The workdays will vary dependent upon the team schedule. Averaging 25 hours per week, including travel with academy teams, this role will have both office and on-field hours. This position begins on or about January 5, 2025, and concludes at the end of the academy season around mid to end of June.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with general daily administration of FC Cincinnati’s Academy
  • Assist Academy Coordinator with planning logistics for away trips
  • Assist with player/trialist transportation and accommodations
  • Support home match operations, on evenings and weekends
  • Support in the logistics of game day preparation and execution
  • Travel with teams for away matches and handle logistics
  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to speak Spanish a bonus

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in a professional or collegiate sports environment preferred
  • Earned degree or enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program, preferably in Business or Sport Management
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC Academy game schedule, special events, and projects
