Responsible for the implementation of student recruitment strategies, enrollment processes, job placement, and program evaluation reports. Assists students with job readiness/life skills curriculum, training barriers, access to stabilization resources, monitor and maintain student outcomes and long term follow up. This position is task oriented and data driven but balanced with patience and understanding of the student population.

Job Description
Responsible for the implementation of student recruitment strategies, enrollment processes, job placement, and program evaluation reports. Assists students with job readiness/life skills curriculum, training barriers, access to stabilization resources, monitor and maintain student outcomes and long term follow up. This position is task oriented and data driven but balanced with patience and understanding of the student population.
Essential Job Functions
- Review applications, manage applicant tracker, run background checks.
- Manage follow-up calls, scanning of student documentation, and new class materials.
- Refer students who have training barriers to community agency/resources and stabilization staff.
- Act as student point of contact with agency partners, schools, and other programs.
- Complete student exit interview, update digital files.
- Oversee volunteers to maintain office supplies, hygiene supplies, and clerical work.
- Organize and execute program graduation ceremony.
- Maintain logs of student distribution materials.
- Maintain job boards, help with resumes, and provide job leads.
- Coordinate and track meetings with stabilization, TANF, and the life coach.
- Prepare reports for safety incidents.
- Assist in the recruitment of students through presentations at various locations and participation in other community events.
- Attend workshops, meetings, conferences, and serve on various committees in the community and internally.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Student Services or Social/Human Services.
- Ability to work with volunteers and adult students.
- Good customer service and marketing skills.
- Effective communications (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse team and manage projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook software; including data base management, social media platforms.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Strong creativity; with an ability to utilize existing resources to generate new ideas, forms, and methods required.
- Knowledge of the structure and operation of government and community agencies and private businesses;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to administer various tests;
- Ability to forge collaborative relationships with community partners;
- Ability to evaluate client needs using prescribed program methods;
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and have high level of organization; exceptional customer service skills; Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
