Overview:
The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sponsorships & Exhibitors Promoter to help grow our annual Earth Day Festival. This role is crucial for identifying, targeting, and securing financial sponsorships and exhibitor participation, ensuring the festival has the resources and diverse representation needed to thrive. You will play a key role in building relationships with community partners and environmental leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship and Exhibitor Outreach:
o Research and identify potential sponsors and exhibitors that align with the festival’s mission and theme.
o Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to solicit participation, including cold-calling, email campaigns, and in-person meetings.
o Present sponsorship and exhibitor packages and clearly communicate the value of their participation.

Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for all potential and confirmed sponsors and exhibitors.
o Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with partners throughout the entire process, from initial contact to post-event follow-up.

Coordination with Logistics:
o Work in close collaboration with the “Registration and Event Logistics Coordinator” to ensure a seamless process for all confirmed participants.
o Communicate participant needs and preferences to the logistics team to ensure they are assigned an appropriate and well-suited location at the event.
o Coordinate the collection of all necessary information from sponsors and exhibitors to ensure a smooth on-site experience.

Reporting and Administration:
o Maintain an organized database of all outreach efforts, contacts, and confirmed participants.
o Provide regular updates and reports on progress toward sponsorship and exhibitor goals.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, business development, or sponsorships for events or non-profit organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and projects simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet targets.
• A passion for environmental advocacy and community engagement.

Compensation: Compensation will be determined based on experience and success in securing new partnerships.
Compensation: $500, paid on the day of the event; or volunteer credit for scholarship students.
