Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for a Senior Outreach Coordinator in the Department of Community Health Services, Division of Harm Reduction. Requirements include: BS in health education or related field, three (3) years experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of outreach activities in a public health setting or closely related field which evidences knowledge of management practices and procedures. Must have supervisory experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of residency.Job Duties include but are not limited to:- Oversee the overdose fatality review, including next-of-kin interviews, chart review and data abstraction, meeting facilitation and tracking of recommendations.- Oversee the drug checking and point of care testing program, including management of scheduling, specimen collection and shipment, and tracking results.- Supervise the duties of community outreach coordinators for harm reduction programs, including the Recovery Friendly Hamilton County program.- Oversee community education, engagement of community partners, and progression of grant work goals.- Determine budget needs, develop funding strategies (i.e. grant writing), and adhere to fiscal policies and procedures.- Prepare grants and administer fiscal resources for assigned harm reduction programs.- Assist with required grant administration activities including contracting, budgeting, reporting, and managing relationships with partners- Report harm reduction outreach activities and outcomes to all key stakeholders as defined.- Other duties as assigned.*** This position is grant funded.This is an exempt position.
