Hamilton County Public Health is accepting applications for one HIV/AIDS Linkage & Re-Engagement Coordinator in the Division of Disease Prevention. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree. Public Health education and experience preferred. Must have valid Driver’s License and private vehicle for job use. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Providing risk-reduction education and counseling to individuals being treated for and/or exposed to HIV.- Providing PrEP educational trainings to at-risk populations.- Providing trainings to human services organizations to administer HIV testing to the clients they serve.- Testing individuals for HIV and providing them results. Linking them with resources, healthcare, and referrals as needed.- Locating and testing individuals who have been identified as having a possible exposure to HIV.- Providing Ohio Department of Health (ODH) with required testing reports.- Answering questions and maintaining strict confidentiality of all information obtained in counseling sessions.- Attend all required Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) meetings.
