Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Business Applications for IT, you will ensure the successful running of reliable and valuable SaaS technology systems with measurable improvements to remove productivity obstacles and fuel growth across the company. You’ll run a talented team, setting the strategic direction and roadmap for the SaaS tools, ensuring they meet business needs while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
What You’ll Do:

- Manage a High-Performance Team:
Manage a team to become High-Performance focused on delivering highly valuable SaaS solutions by fostering a growth-focused team culture, mentoring future technical leaders, and effectively managing performance with frequent feedback. Coach each team member to develop cross-organizational collaboration, technical, and user-focused skills, and to deepen their ability to deliver value across Indeed.
- Manage a High-Performance Team:
- Drive Initiatives:
Drive impactful Initiatives and Key Results that drive improvements across Indeed at a large scale, and Projects to address specific business needs. You will lead a matrixed project team to drive alignment between technical, long-term strategic, and business goals and deliver measurable business value.
- Shape SaaS Strategy & Solutions:
Define and execute the SaaS roadmap, optimizing the system's measured business value delivery and improving how SaaS tools are experienced by users through administration, monitoring, and a deep understanding of user needs. Partner with vendors to ensure tools provide maximum value and align with evolving business needs - Collaborate Across Functions:
Be a trusted advisor by building excellent relationships with customers, advocating for team initiatives, and aligning with other IT and business teams to craft solutions that drive positive change. Understand user needs to optimize tool functionality and efficiency through frequent Ride-Alongs, User Interviews, and other UX research techniques. - Drive Technical Excellence:
Deliver impactful architectural projects, including tool replacements, system upgrades, and feature launches. Establish best practices, create user guidelines, and set standards that ensure the scalability, security, and quality of our SaaS solutions
Skills/Competencies
- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years of experience; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
- Proven ability to head cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, manage complex projects, and adapt to new challenges
- Proven communicator and collaborator, with a passion for coaching and growing team members and building partnerships across functions
- Experience in Agile methodologies and SDLC tools to plan and track team progress.
- Enterprise Integration design or API coding experience
- Experience with Release Management and Customer Enablement
- Experience implementing security standards, identity management, and administering confidential information
- Experience in managing and improving Generative AI Tools
