Main Responsibilities for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician

• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Diagnose and make repairs on trucks, trailers, and other equipment as needed
• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers and drivers
• Perform DOT inspections
• Interact with our customers to handle customer requests
• Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
• Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, and chassis components
• Keeping your work area clean and safe

Qualifications for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician

• Previous experience as a Diesel Technician
• Clean MVR with a Class A CDL is a significant plus
• At least 1 year of Fleet or Dealership experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Must be able to work independently
• Self-motivated and professional

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
• Reaching with arms and hands
• Lift up to 80 pounds
• Must be able to work independently
