Main Responsibilities for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician - Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Diagnose and make repairs on trucks, trailers, and other equipment as needed
- Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers and drivers
- Perform DOT inspections
- Interact with our customers to handle customer requests
- Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
- Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, and chassis components
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
Qualifications for a Diesel Mechanic / Technician - Previous experience as a Diesel Technician
- Clean MVR with a Class A CDL is a significant plus
- At least 1 year of Fleet or Dealership experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
- Must be able to work independently
- Self-motivated and professional
Physical Requirements: - Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
- Reaching with arms and hands
- Lift up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to work independently
