Shipping & Receiving + Asset Management

Job Description:
The warehouse associate is a role within the LOTH warehouse that is responsible for the shipping and receiving of furniture and related products; while assisting in other areas of the warehouse such as Asset Management.

Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving:
  • Pulling Product to Ship
  • Inspect product for quality control purposes
  • Ensure product is properly packages to prevent damage
  • Ship product to receiving area
  • Process Shipping and Receiving with proper paperwork
  • Unload product from carriers
  • Properly receive and inspect all product
  • Note damages and write up notifications
  • Place items in warehouse locations for storage
  • Follow vendor packaging checklist papers.
  • Clean and Organize Warehouse
  • Put up stock as instructed
  • Sweep area and dispose of trash
  • Consolidate product
Asset Management:
  • Assists with customer inventory
  • Responds to client inquiries on product inventory
  • Assists with Asset and/or inventory reporting
Other Responsibilities:
  • Occasionally build furniture
  • Put product up in racks
  • Pull needed product from racks
  • Consolidate area
  • Assist in office setup for meetings and housekeeping as needed.
  • Follow shut down and opening security procedures.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods (majority of the shift)
  • Ability to carry and transport heavy equipment with or without team members
  • Ability to continually lift heavy items ranging in weight often up to 100lbs.
  • Ability to work in safe manner in a construction environment
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One year minimum experience in Warehouse work
  • Experience in the office furniture industry (preferred)
  • Power tool experience preferred
  • Computer Skills - Email, Warehouse Management System
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to react to problems and create solutions; seeking support as needed
  • Positive demeanor with ability to explain problems and solutions to customers, contractors and leadership
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Personal character in accordance with company’s core values and beliefs. Required to pass a drug and background check.
