Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Reports to the Chief Operating Officer of the Market and provides operational, statistical, and financial data and analysis to the Directors of Service Lines in support of process improvement initiatives, decreasing costs, increasing revenue and improvement of patient throughput. Provides information to executive and senior leadership across procedural areas including scheduling, charging, inventory management, capital, and supply acquisitions. Reviews, evaluates, and approves vendor invoices for procedural departments including surgery, endoscopy, catheterization lab, interventional radiology, and obstetrics.
Essential Job Functions
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, and reviews statistical reports on daily, monthly, and annual basis.
- Monitors for trends and problems and assists with the implementation of solutions and works with team members on preference cards to ensure contract compliance and equitable usage.
- Participates in and/or supports project teams or individual efforts to evaluate/support decision making/implementation of various strategic initiatives.
- Produces and summarizes data to support financial and operational issues, while reporting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Assists with the preparation, analysis, validation, and reconciliation of the capital and operational budgets for all applicable areas.
- Works with COO, CNO, and CFO to set and achieve labor productivity targets.
- Collaborates with value analysis/product integration committees and department team leaders to maintain product evaluation, standardization cost containment and physician satisfaction with product selection.
- Communicates and coordinates activities among the system users, vendors, and the Information Systems Department.
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedure related to applicable information system that ensure appropriate documentation of procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business (required)
Work Experience
Previous experience in business or finance within healthcare (preferred)
