The Pharmacy Clerk performs basic clerical and operational duties in all designated areas. These may include, but are not limited to, inventory maintenance, medication deliveries, supporting the register, packing, sorting, staging orders for shipment and workstation preparation.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepares supplies, such as boxes and medication kits for daily production
• Replenishes product as needed
• Stocks, sorts, and organizes drug inventory (non-controlled)
• Counts product in to ensure accuracy
• Performs checks for expired medications
• Maintains appropriate paperwork as requested

In retail locations, performs the following responsibilities per position requirements:

• ​Works with assigned team to coordinate packing, shipping, and staging of patient medication orders and/or medication deliveries
• Enters demographic information into a patient’s profile
• Supports the register and sells prescriptions as needed
• Sorts packages for specific shipment types and ensures accuracy of shipment locations
• Prepares workstations for daily production, including stocking supplies and cleaning stations

High School or GED (required)

Work Experience

2 years of technical experience (preferred)

Ability to use pharmacy equipment

Ability to use Warehouse Equipment as needed including Pallet Jack, Tape Dispensers, Fill Dispensers, Box Cutters as applicable

Computer Literacy including printing, scanning, pharmacy technology to provide pharmacy services
