Saltwater CMHT is a dynamic, multidisciplinary service committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults experiencing complex mental health needs. About the Role – Senior Recovery Clinician (Intake)
The Senior Recovery Clinician - Intake provides discipline specific client recovery focused care based on evidence-based practice as well as a commitment to the delivery of services that are responsive to the needs of the community.
The Senior Recovery Clinician utilizes their discipline specific clinical skills by undertaking intake assessment, intervention, improving referral pathways and managing demand for consumers and carer’s accessing the service. The position helps to provide and facilitate access to single session/brief therapy, recovery focused psychiatric assessment and intervention, and case management for adults and their families.
This position supports the Manager, Team Leader and Clinical Seniors within the Community Mental Health Team and works collaboratively with relevant positions in Mercy Mental Health.

Qualifications:
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with successful completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program or a Post Graduate Psychiatric/mental health nursing qualification or
An approved degree in Psychology and registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or
An approved degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or
An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers and
A current unrestricted Victorian Driver’s Licence and ability to drive a work vehicle
Desirable:
Further study in the relevant specialist areas.
Demonstrated clinical competency in mental status and risk assessment and the ability to prioritise workload and coordinate clinical care with other services providers.

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
