About the opportunity
O’Connell Family Centre Canterbury is one of two, Early Parenting Centres (EPCs) operated by Mercy Health. EPCs strive to support happy, healthy, safe, and thriving babies and toddlers by promoting the parent-child relationship and equipping parents with strategies to achieve their parenting goals. EPCs provide specialist support for Victorian families with children aged 0-4 years. We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Bookings team and the O’Connell Family.
The Administration Officer Bookings role is to:
Manage bookings and admissions for O’Connell Family Centre.
Maintain Medical Records.
Ensure the integrity of the electronic booking systems.
Provide front-line customer service to families attending OFC.
Facilitate information flow through the organisation and the community.
Compliment and support the strategic direction and management within OFC.
Assist with Reception cover when required.
Administrative Officer Bookings (HS15).
Located at 6 Mont Albert Road, Canterbury.
Permanent Part-Time 16 hours per week.
Free On-Site Car Parking.
OFC is open 50 weeks a year with a 2-week closure over Christmas/New Year.
About You:
English Literacy and Numeracy skills.
Office management experience.
Certificate in office management or equivalent (desirable).
Competent computer skills.
Previous experience in a health facility (desirable).
Previous experience using IPM and CPF (desirable).
What you will need:
Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.
Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks, subject to current legislation).
Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement.
