About the opportunity
Part time permanent position, 8hrs per fortnight
Available casual hours for general administration cover
Ability to work up in times of leave cover
Join our Mercy Health Albury team, where as a cohesive team we provide quality patient centred care. Your work will be appreciated, and you will contribute to the Mercy Health overall goals, while being well supported and working within a great team environment.
The position of Finance Administration Officer is responsible for many aspects of finance including our patient billing system and end of month reporting. Responsibilities include entering and coding invoices for accounts payable and working within the Tech1 system ensuring invoices are entered in a timely manner.
The position is also responsible for the ordering/ receipting of supplies and be the direct onsite liaison to finance and procurement team located in Melbourne.
The general administration position is required to cover reception duties, and other areas of the hospital. The successful applicant would be required to be the face of Mercy for visitors, coordinate switch board calls, admit patients into the inpatient management system, and complete general administration tasks as required.
These position/s are a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working within a health setting. The successful applicant/s may have the opportunity to work across other areas of the organisation.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Finance Administration
Demonstrated experience in Financial Administration
Experience in prioritising workload to meet time sensitive deadlines
Experience in billing, receipting and reconciliations
Experience working in an online accounting system
Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Experience in a health setting (desirable)
General Administration
Demonstrated experience in general administration
Experience in a customer focused role, ensuring a positive first point of contact
Proficient use in Microsoft office suite
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
