Summary of the role:

Provide quality, person-centred Physiotherapy clinical care predominately in acute musculoskeletal / orthopaedic physiotherapy outpatient department. May need to assist in Emergency Department or inpatient wards and weekend roster as required.

Grade 2 (or experienced Grade 1) Physiotherapist, Full-time (76hrs / fortnight), contract position commencing 16/2/2026 to 30/6/26

Provides quality, person-centred physiotherapy clinical care to the allocated caseload, ensuring a holistic and multidisciplinary team approach.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Current, full and unlimited AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

ABOUT YOU:

  • AHPRA-recognised degree in Physiotherapy with full, unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration

  • Broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience ideally in an acute hospital setting

  • Ideally minimum of two years' experience including strong skills in orthopaedics and muscuolsketal physiotherapy.

  • Experience in supervision of students and grade 1 physiotherapists highly desirable

  • Willingness to participate in weekend roster as required

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, commitment to person-centred care, ability to adapt and learn quickly, work flexibly within a team & prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner within a complex work setting

  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, friendly, team-oriented, adaptable with positive ‘can do’ attitude, and a philosophy of evidence-based practice
