About the opportunity

This position is a pivotal leadership role within the ED expansion project, supporting the Program Director in operationalising the new ED and collaborating closely with other stream leads, including those across capital, recruitment/HR, and transition.

As the Nursing Workforce Readiness stream lead, the role ensures nursing workforce capability, capacity, models of care and change readiness are aligned with the expanded ED’s service profile.
The role works collaboratively with clinical leaders, educators, workforce teams, infrastructure, I.T and operational stakeholders to ensure nurses are confident, competent and supported before, during and after transition.
The Nursing Workforce readiness stream lead will act as the primary point of accountability for this workstream, ensuring that all deliverables, timelines, and risks within that scope are managed effectively and integrated into the broader project plan overseen by the Program Director.
